After all the deals and all the failure - from
both sides - it seems as though the entire process comes down to ONE
only key point.
O'Bomba wants unlimited spending - remove the budget cap. He could have
compromised on anything else but not that point. That's what he wants,
everything else is a ruse.
There will be no agreement. Taxes go up and there will be some spending
cuts... for a day or two. The win is that the House will not let
O'Bomba have control of the budget. Not much of a win but that is the point.
When is the last time the leader of the free world submitted a budget
proposal to the House to create?
Everybody wins - Everybody loses
